Who We Are

Although human exposure to chemicals in the environment is pervasive, our scientific understanding of how environmental exposures contribute to chronic human disease is incomplete. We use cutting-edge analytical approaches to characterize human exposure to mixtures of organic contaminants and to understand how these exposures relate to health.

Our Research Projects

How we are addressing our myriad chemical exposures

River Water Quality

Identifying and assessing emerging contaminant occurrence in drinking water sources

Indoor Exposure

Characterizing contaminants in indoor air and house dust to evaluate product sources and pathways of exposure

Personal Exposures & Biomonitoring

Measuring contaminants in human tissues and assessing exposure using silicone wristbands

Analytical Cheminformatics

Addressing big data challenges in exposure science
